Pro Grip - Brushed EVA Deck Tape

Adhesive grip tape designed for dinghy decks or racks, conforming to surfaces for a robust, long-lasting hold. Easy to remove, leaving no residue, and available in multiple colors.

• Remove Old Tape: If necessary, warm the old EVA tape with a low-heat hot air gun to soften the glue, then peel it off
• Thoroughly Clean Surface: Use acetone to clean the area where the tape will be applied, ensuring all old glue, silicones, wax, and contaminants are removed. Wear gloves for safety
• Measure and Cut Tape: Cut the tape to the required length for the sitting out area or gunwale area where it will be applied
• Round Tape Corners: Radius the corners of the cut tape (around 10-15mm) to prevent lifting in the corners
• Re-clean Surface: Repeat the cleaning process to ensure the surface is completely clean before application
• Warm Application Area: Heat up the area where the tape will be applied to improve adhesion
• Apply Tape: Apply the tape while pulling off the backing paper, ensuring even pressure is applied
• Ensure Adhesion: Rub down the tape well to ensure strong adhesion to the surface
